Our Story

How ReSTEM Was Founded

After developing the first-ever FTC robotics team at Dr. Phillips High School, we saw a problem and an opportunity. Within our local robotics community, we saw that many new/developing teams were in disadvantageous positions competing against other teams due to their lack of resources and funding. Compared to other teams, newer teams are unable to have established sponsorships and partnerships with organizations/companies like the veteran teams, as they do not have specific programs dedicated to robotics or do not have the reputation to earn sponsorships/partnerships yet.

To combat this, we realized that we could donate resources, such as 3D printer filament and old robotics parts to support developing teams and catalyze their progress as a team. Through recycling and reusing
